Bid For A Cause is here to assit organizations and individuals in raising the funds they need. We understand  how much time, effort and frustration can go into attaining your financial goals. By utilizing  on-line auctions we can help eliminate these burdens while helping you attain your gaols.
Individuals

We all have items buried deep in our closets, attics, garages and basements that we no longer need or use.  You may be thinking that you could have a garage sale and sell those items. You could, but with limited  exposure you would probably only realize a small fraction of what you could get for those items at auction.  You would have to go through the frustrations of setting up and taking down tables and items, pricing all your  items, haggeling with customers and wasting a lot of your valuable time waiting for them not to mention the cost of advertising.  We make a difference by handling all of this for you. You can bring your items to us or we can pick them up.

Pickup distances over 25 miles may be accessed a minimum of a $2.50 fuel charge. Typical Mileage rate is 22 cents per round trip mile over 25.   we use www.MapQuest.com mileage extimates and not our actual mileage. This way if we have problems finding you, you don't have to pay for miles  we spend looking for you. contact a Trading Specialist for details.

Organizations

Currently you probably have your members sell items to a small group of friends and family or  maybe you hold bazaars where you earn a small commission or fees from table rentals. No  matter what method you currently use you are probably focusing on a limited group of buyers and realizing  a smaller percentage of the profit then you could with Bid For A Cause. We take a different approach, instead  of getting your membership to spend money you get them to donate new and used items to your cause.  We have found that it is typically easier to get people to donate items of value they have then  it is to get them to give money. Business's also are frequently more willing to donate items to worth while causes  then cash. We will promote the business's that help you via your auctions.

What Can I Sell?

It's true not everything sells well at on-line auctions. CD's and DVD's don't sell well unless they are in large groups  yet older vinyl albums and 45's can sell well to collectors.
